Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment

El Aula Virtual (@moodle) es una herramienta útil para el profesor porque permite subir documentos, fotografías, vídeos, resúmenes teóricos, listados de vocabulario y ejercicios entre otras muchas cosas. El alumno accede a este material desde cualquier dispositivo electrónico (ordenador portátil, tableta, smartphone) en el momento que le conviene con la opción a guardar, descargar y obtener una copia impresa de textos, ejercicios o esquemas. El formato de la clase en línea (online classroom) facilita la comunicación del profesor y los alumnos.

En la asignatura de lengua extranjera un profesor puede compartir audios en formato MP3 –podcasts– simplemente añadiendo el enlace de una página web. Por supuesto, los vídeos explicativos sobre gramática, los GIFs –animaciones de vídeos brevísimos- hacen la clase divertida, las fotografías, los mapas geográficos, los textos sencillos y los difíciles, las páginas web especializadas en ejercicios que ofrecen la opción a comprobar la realización correcta o incorrecta de un ítem, etcétera.

Todos los alumnos deben entrar, visitar y consultar los apartados de esta clase online obligatoriamente al menos una vez a la semana. No hacerlo significaría faltar a una clase. En esta plataforma virtual, el profesor añade esquemas, incorpora apuntes y observaciones, deja recordatorios, comparte ideas y anota fechas de trabajos que han de ser entregados un día y una hora fijadas con antelación.

Vocabulario mínimo de latín (vía @moodle)

La asignatura de latín de 4º de ESO es entendida como un curso de iniciación. Los alumnos deben acceder al Aula Virtual (MOODLE) para descargar e imprimir un listado obligatorio de vocabulario. A lo largo del curso académico copiarán, leerán, traducirán y aprenderán expresiones latinas empleadas en la sociedad actual. El estudio y conocimiento de ciertos términos de origen latino mostrarán a los alumnos la importancia de hablar una lengua romance.

Asimismo en el curso se leerán textos breves relativos a la cultura romana y, por supuesto, haremos hincapié en la gramática básica de esta lengua con la práctica de las declinaciones del nombre o las conjugaciones verbales más sencillas.

El objetivo final es proveer al estudiante de latín de vocabulario esencial que le permita atreverse a interpretar o traducir lemas, proverbios y escritos de líneas escasas.

El interés y la curiosidad del estudiante de latín para ampliar el léxico latino y aficionarse al diccionario de latín y castellano son posibilidades nada despreciables.
