Oral assessment is a must in a class of foreign language. I like the technique of Q. A (Question.Answer) to the students. To begin, the teacher provides some essential messages for communication by writing phrases on the board.

e.g: What´s your last name, Peter?

Immediately the teacher invites the choir of students to repeat the answer: Smith.

The MOODLE (@moodle) platform is useful to share these formulas. I have prepared some pages for beginners with an eye to this website:  www.7esl.com (answers to common English questions)
