Sometimes one feels grateful to both literature and cinema because of their bilingualism; I mean, their different languages. Teachers often ask students for some tasks to fulfil such as writing essays, doing exercises or just reading a short story or novel.

Fortunately not always happens, but from time to time lazy students chooses to cheat and watches the film which parallels the novel. The whole thing, the aim of the task is the task itself; just reading and learning English language.

The story told in the book might have several nuances that never appear in the cinema script. In the movie, Muriel-the dog trainer-is a married woman abandoned by her husband wheresas in the book she tells that she had been about to marry someone but in fact she didn´t.
